This week we were out on the ground at our Lovell Partnerships Ltd Homes site and on a 300-plot Crest Nicholson plc development for Alfa Site Services Limited — checking in with the teams and making sure everything is progressing to standard.

Visits like these cover everything from inspecting brickwork quality and wall tie installation to checking courses, levels and measurements are spot on. It’s about making sure every element of the build meets specification before the next phase moves forward.

Just as important is checking in with the teams themselves — making sure everyone has what they need, any issues are picked up early, and the work is progressing smoothly across both sites.

We also took time to work with our apprentice on site, supporting his development and making sure he’s picking up the right skills and habits from day one.
