Bond Brickwork Ltd: brickwork contractor for new-build housing across Yorkshire
Bond Brickwork Ltd is a brickwork and masonry subcontractor based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Since January 2018 we have built the substructures, superstructures and retaining walls on more than 100 housing developments, mostly across West and South Yorkshire. The company passed 100 site projects in August 2025.
Who we work for
House builders, mainly, with some developers and main contractors. Our teams have built for Barratt Homes, David Wilson Homes, Persimmon Homes, Taylor Wimpey, Vistry Group, Miller Homes, Bloor Homes, Keepmoat, Lovell, Jones Homes, Newett Homes, Stonebridge Homes, Wates, Lindum Group, Jack Lunn, Torsion Homes and Hoober Urban Partnerships. Much of it is repeat work: seven years of sites for Newett Homes, a five-year framework with Taylor Wimpey, and Jones Homes from Hade Edge through Golcar, Treeton and Thorpe Hesley.
What we do
The masonry package from the footings up: facing brick, blockwork, natural and artificial stone, built to the house builder’s programme. Normally labour-only, with supply and fix by agreement. Sites run from around 10 plots to 250, and most packages sit between 20 and 150.

The team
Danny McDonagh (Managing Director) runs delivery on site. David Sage (Commercial Director) looks after the commercial and quantity surveying side. Behind them: contracts managers, a quantity surveyor, site technicians, health and safety admin, and bricklaying gangs who have been with us for years. Accredited with CHAS, Constructionline Gold, SMAS Worksafe and Acclaim.
